Register late payers on the e-bcm Debtors List

Our debt chasing letter is fair but firm and includes the warning that unless the debt is paid direct to you within 14 days the debtor will be listed on the e-bcm Debtors List, which our subscribers can view when conducting credit checks themselves.

To be scrupulously fair to the debtor we allow the ability for them to add a comment with their reason for non-payment, which will be posted alongside the outstanding debt.

Why should you Name and Shame the debtors?

Thousands of UK businesses are forced into insolvency each year because they are owed money. e-bcm gives you the ability to name & shame your bad debtors - embarrassing them into paying their debts. You can post a debt on e-bcm so all subscribers can see who owes you money, how much it is and how overdue it is. You can use this website to help you avoid bad debtors by checking to see if a new customer is listed.

How much does it cost?

The ability to Name & Shame is included in the cost of the Final Demand letter (see Chase page). If the debt remains unpaid 14 days after you have sent the Final Demand letter, you can then post the details to the e-bcm Debtors List. There is no additional cost for posting the debt on the website.

What happens if you subsequently get paid?

As and when your customer pays the debt you are responsible for updating the debtors list, however the debt history will remain visible to other e-bcm subscribers wishing to trade with that company. Our service is there to encourage businesses to pay promptly to agreed terms!
